Tasksel is a Debian/Ubuntu tool that installs multiple related packages as a co-ordinated “task” onto your system.

This function is similar to that of meta-packages, and, in fact, most of the tasks available from tasksel are also available as meta-packages from the Ubuntu package managers (such as Synaptic Package Manager or KPackageKit).

WARNING: Use tasksel only to install tasks, never to remove any! According to https://launchpad.net/bugs/574287 it will remove each package in the list of that task (and possibly render your system unusable).

 

Installation

Because the package managers now have most of the tasks as meta-packages, tasksel is not installed by default on editions of Ubuntu (such as Desktop editions) that have package managers. (Tasksel is still installed by default on server editions).

If tasksel is not installed, install it from the command-line:

 

sudo apt-get install tasksel

 

Usage

To run tasksel from the command line, type:

 

sudo tasksel

the tasksel menu will be shown:

Already-installed tasks will have an asterisk beside their name. Select a task by scrolling down and pressing space. This will put an asterisk beside the selected task and mark it for installation. Removing an asterisk marks the task for removal. Once “ok” is selected the task installations and/or removals will take place using apt-get.

 

Command line arguments

You can also directly specify which task to install.

For instance, to add the Apache-MySQL-PHP stack to an existing system:

sudo tasksel install lamp-server

To see available (unistalled – u) and installed (i) tasks:

tasksel --list-task

Usage (alternative)

Tasks can also be installed with apt-get using the syntax:

 

sudo apt-get install the_name_of_the_task_you_want^

Examples:

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop^
sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop^
sudo apt-get install lamp-server^

Note: The caret (^) was generally required at the end of the command in older versions of tasksel. It is not required in newer versions of tasksel.

Note – Calling tasks from apt-get is not documented anywhere. If you find a page that documents this, please update this page with a link.

 

Tasks List

Tasks are defined in .desc files found in /usr/share/tasksel. Debian derivatives can easily add tasks.

The default list available in Ubuntu can be viewed with this command-line:

grep Task /usr/share/tasksel/ubuntu-tasks.desc

new year 2012.

Yesterday,I go through on date for 2011.  The hardest moment for me is on August, 2011,where i have many difficult things to face, then my period cycle happens repeatedly.

I can’t told you how hard it , and it actually made me strong.I believe that the past will never happen again. At the moment, i felt that i cant stand anymore, i don’t have guts to even walk away. I’m stuck and don’t know how to handle that pressure, but maybe as my pray had been hear by Allah subhana wataala,Allah gives me reason to be alive and at this year, i realize that i am strong, i can ease the pain away. Even though it was hurt yet I am so immune to that pain , & I have reasons to live this life. Thank you Allah.As I recite Quran, i find that world is big, it been created in a such way that people is very small. and we are a strong fighter.

Let bypass be bypass, make an amend to be a better girl.. and Love yourself!

i am a big gurl now. i used to be independent, i already proved it.

Encouraging others is incredibly easy.

1. Understand the dreams of others. Leadership begins with understanding and accepting the dreams of others.
2. See the strengths in others rather than persistently working to improve weaknesses. Inordinate desire to improve things may create negativity. Spend more time focused on strengths.
3. Speak hopefully. All great leaders are always realistically optimistic. If you don’t think others can rise up to meet challenges, get out of leadership.
4. Serve others by helping them reach their dreams.
5. When possible, meet a need.

Discouraging others is incredibly easy.

1. Do nothing.
2. Say nothing.
3. Be negative.

All of this picture was taken at our fish ponds ..hahaha.. when my father had took out the fishes out, to clean the water. this kids get into the ponds and bathing there..hahaha.. so funny. just to share you how the funny faces and action that they did during the evening. It was so exciting to see them at the day… and how happy  they are playing with each other. It was so awesome

Dalam kereta, excited mo p school. everything is still neat and clean , his shoes, pants, clothes and socks.. wait till he know more friends at his school.. :p

He was full of energy going to school at 12 noon. He wake up at 10:30 am and watch cartoon, then take a shower, be prepare and we send him to his school.

5 months countdown

Life is unpredictable, some needs patient, some need self-defense and some also need hate! Why i cannot hate people or things that i dont like to see or hear or even say it! I need a change maybe to be more arrogant and ..uuwwww am i bad ? I have tolerate with many people, be kind to people, since i am 5 years old, i am a good friend but almost everyone jealous to me because i am a teacher’s beloved. So, they dont like to help me while they ask for my help. okay, when i growing, people be kind to you because they need something from u that gives them benefit. Oh my god, don’t ask me to tolerate with people .. and i also don’t know how to do it.

It is good people say it i don’t deserve to won, yes it makes me feel down, i admit it.. I just think to be good , kind , nice and soooo perfectly clear. But stop ridiculuos , people change or you may be hate yourself for what people had think for you or even said to you. I am just fine with myself.maybe i am not. So, i am looking forward to improve my routine to the healthy life, i need priority to be rearrange. Now i am focusing on career, what i will be in 5 years . actually i want to be someone in 2 years .

So , i had my mind.. i make target to give my ability and skill to the IT field, but for the reason of lack of experience and budget and also labor, maybe i’ll go for a stable field, as long it is a guarantee to support my life for this time being. okay today is 12 jan 2011, i only seek for a job until may, when time is up, i will change my mind, i ‘ll go for master. maybe there’s another oppportunity there. insyallah.. but i have another 4@ 5 months to work out.. Please pray for me

I am a job seeker

from send a resume until called for an interview, i almost give up because no job suitable for me

what make me frustrated..
it was 3 months since my graduation day, after 10th october 2010, one adv came out and i applied the kpli, but never get notified by the call for a test and interview. Luckily i have a friend that help me to check my application status.

After that, i get one call for an interview at 10am.. but i cannot attend it at one company at Kota Kinabalu.

Then , going to direct interview for wawasan cepat and IOI. nO answer till now.. that’s mean they are not willing to employ me.

Recently, i have offer from Ralf blees, kk.. it was an IT company, or software counseling. I have to reject the interview because at the day, i am in sandakan.

Then, when i open my email, i saw one message from my ex-boss from TM, he ask me to submit my resume to kk, they are seeking graduated on e-commerce and engineering but unluckily i miss to even send my resume, just late for 1 day .

Okay , on 6th jan i got a review with my doctor.I took blood test on 4th. So, 5th i went to have an interview with sri insan, the school did not have any job and the only position available is admin and the sallary that i write down on the form is too high for clerk. So, on 9th october i once again dissapointed because i have miss a test from UMS on 5th .

After all whis while, what can i do.. still waiting and trying. Be strong and dont give up

 

When it hurts

Mengenali ajnabi sangat menyakitkan.. bila kata-kata sudah tidak bererti lagi, bila hati disakiti, mulut manis yang merayu memujuk sudah tidak bererti, bila kata maaf sudah tiada makna, namun hati terus disakiti. Diamnya memberi seribu kepahitan namun setiap kata-katanya bagaikan hukuman kepada diri ini.

Hidup ini indah dikala kita selalu memilih untuk merasa untuk disayangi. Bila kita hargai diri kita yang selayaknya harus dilindungi dan disayangi. Mengapa kita perlu mencuba untuk ikhlas di perlukan dalam kehidupan orang lain yang sememangnya tidak layak untuk mendapat kasih sayang yang tulus ikhlas dari hati nurani kita. Hati kita yang suci, putih bersih sewajarnya mendapat penghargaan daripada si pencinta yang tahu menghargai kasih sayang yang Allah pinjamkn pada umatnya.

Di kala kita hanya mampu memilih satu dalam sejuta, berhati waja dan letakkan keberanian anda untuk menempuh keputusan yang bakal kita letakkan dalam kehidupan kerna hidup di dunia hanya sekali, jangan sia-siakan pilihan yang ada.

Dalam usia remaja, begitu banyak liku dan episod yang bakal di tempuh, ada yang manis dan ada juga yang pahit untuk di telan namun manusia selalu lupa, berterima kasih pada Allah yang memberi kekuatan kepada kita. Adakala kita lemah, namun kita punya tempat berpaut di mana ada manusia yang lebih malang, terpaksa hanyut dibawa arus yang telah menelan keluarga mereka, di mana manusia berusaha mengisi perut sehingga terpaksa membunuh kenalan mereka semata-mata hendak memenuhi tuntutan kehidupan.

Hidup ini indah … hidup sangat indah .. Hidup penuh dengan warna, kita pilih dengan fikiran yang waras. Apapun akibatnya , kita harungi dengan tabah.. kerna hari esok pasti bersinar lagi, membawa duka lalu.. menerangi hari kita yang membawa harapan untuk hari yang mendatang ..
